This stunning chocolate cake was created completely in-house by Chef Victoria—rich, decadent, beautifully finished, and entirely gluten-free.

WE’VE BEEN QUIET—BUT WE’VE BEEN BUSY BEHIND THE SCENES!

Hi friends! It’s been a little quiet here since February, and I’m finally ready to share why.

Common Roots Kitchen was such an important part of my journey. It gave me the opportunity to cook for families, businesses, celebrations, and so many wonderful people throughout our community. Your support helped me grow—not only as a chef and business owner, but also toward the work I feel I was always meant to do.

Over the past several months, I’ve shifted my full attention to Jet Stream Cuisine: my private aviation catering and aircraft provisioning company.

As a private jet flight attendant for more than a decade, I understand firsthand what makes catering truly work aboard an aircraft. Jet Stream Cuisine brings together my two greatest areas of experience—culinary hospitality and private aviation—to provide thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, cabin-focused catering throughout the Kansas City area.

We currently serve private aircraft, corporate flight departments, flight crews, FBOs, airlines, offices, and special events throughout the Kansas City market.

So while the name and branding of this page may look different, the person, passion, and commitment behind it remain the same. This isn’t goodbye to Common Roots Kitchen—it’s the next chapter of everything it helped me build.

If you originally followed us for local catering, please stay! Jet Stream Cuisine is not only for aviation. We are also available for office meetings, corporate events, celebrations, and private catering.
