🔥 MADE FOR KC — THAT’S A WRAP! 🔥

We had an amazing time at the Made for KC BBQ Competition! We walked into the weekend feeling like we put together a pretty damn solid cook.

The judges, however, apparently woke up and chose violence. 😂

We lined up against 42 of the best BBQ cooks in the Kansas City area, all battling for a shot at the ultimate prize — the opportunity to run a restaurant at KCI Airport.

Here’s how the Chaos Crew finished:

🐔 Chicken — 21st
🐷 Ribs — 33rd
🐖 Pork — 40th — we're still investigating this crime scene 😂
🐄 Brisket — 27th

Overall - 34th

Not the numbers we wanted, but that's competition BBQ. Sometimes you walk away with hardware, sometimes you walk away scratching your head and wondering what the hell six strangers tasted that you didn't. 😂

But we cooked our cook, had a hell of a weekend, and got to throw down with some of the best teams KC has to offer.

🏆 HUGE congratulations to our friend Charles Winslow-Bey and Smokey Beys bbq on taking home the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! Absolutely earned it!

Today we’re cooking Made for KC, trying to impress a handful of strangers in a parking lot for a chance to WIN AN 18-MONTH RESTAURANT CONTRACT AT KCI AIRPORT.

Totally normal Saturday activities.

Now it’s time to shut up, cook our food, trust the process, and see if the Chaos Crew can turn smoke, meat, caffeine, and poor life choices into something BIG. 🏆✈️🔥
