🌅 I love KSF mornings. 🎡

A quiet walk with the heifers before the sun comes up. Arrival of some of my favorite people. A walk down (then back up, then back down again…) the midway before it’s crowded and feels like the surface of the sun.

Everyone is in such a good mood: full of excitement and caffeine-fueled energy. No one is pi**ed off at animals, kids, or each other… yet.

Here’s to ya, KSF (*clink* ☕️☕️).

QUOTABLES, Day 1 without fair 😢. This represents two days technically, because y’all I was too damn tired to post the list Sunday. But it doesn’t mean I didn’t track ‘em. 😉

QUOTABLES, last day of the fair. Walker Montgomery 4-H meet and greet, rodeo, and the traditional water fight!

Today’s quotes will be left to our 4-H seniors. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

💬 Whoa… I needed 5-7 business days to prepare for this. But my advice to you younger 4-Hers would be to stick with it and don’t be embarrassed if you forget how to do something. We’ve all done it. Just have fun and remember these years.

💬 Take the constructive criticism… and use it.

💬 Work hard and put your animals first. We wouldn’t be here without them.

💬 You’re never too old to have fun. And if you put your heart and soul into your animal, it will pay you back.
