Today is the beginning of a very long, busy and tiring 10 days of BBQ awesomeness.

This hasn't been our most active season, but we're ready as we've ever been.

1st up: back to where it all began 11 years ago. A place where failures made way for great successes. Shawnee Town 1929. Our 10th Shawnee Great Grillers.

Then Wednesday, we pull through a concrete tunnel and into the most magical place: the center of the BBQ universe. Our 5th American Royal.

We're trimmed, mixed, stocked, packed and ready to haul. Let's fu**in' GO!

We've not posted in a while because we haven't cooked in a while, but people often ask who's "Fat" and who's "Dumb". The answer is that neither is a noun, they're adjectives, they're not pejorative terms, they're guideposts for good food.
