Well folks the 2025 watermelon season has officially came to an end today as we sold our last watermelon. I would like to say thank u to all of my old customers that has been with me since I started moving watermelons from begin and all the new customers that has purchased from us this year. It is truly humbling for ppl to say how good of watermelons we produced this year. I have to give thanks to a few ppl that made it happen this year. First and foremost my wife for standing side by side with me with this crazy idea even thro some days c wanted to string me up for planting them. I also couldn’t have done it without the help of my workers Lani Romero and Braxton Leblanc picking them. I also have to give thank to Mr Nathan at Thibodeaux Feed for the advice on what fungus side and fertilizer to put n the ground. I am also working with an outstanding LSU agent Justin Dufour in getting my grass n w**d control under control for next year. We will b adding additional acres next year and planning on producing a late crop of melon for the end of July/August time frame. We are also ramping up honey bee colonies and nucs as we speak in order to offer selling fresh raw honey with our watermelons next year. We are aiming to have 20 plus honey bee colonies producing honey next year. We are looking forward to see what next year will have in store for us.
