Yarrow can help stimulate clotting of wounds, assist in healing skin, and is known to have positive effects on the cardiovascular system. It is also an astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and sedative. Among many other uses, Yarrow is great in salves, as tea, hot compresses, or even as the Foxfire books suggest- flowers can be fried until brown and served hot.
