Did you know that we like to grow rarely seen varieties of vegetables? We LOVE growing heirloom cherry tomatoes. This year's batch includes isis candy, black strawberry, purple bumble bee, rosella, and regular cherry tomatoes.

The black strawberry and purple bumble bee are heirloom varieties that are more savory and slightly less sweet than regular cherry tomatoes. Isis candy and rosella cherry tomatoes have all the sweetness with less acidity.

Also seen here are lemon cucumbers! They look like a lemon but taste like a cucumber with thinner skin and without the bitterness that you notice in slicer cucumbers.

Currently available:

Cherry tomato variety: $4/lb
Lemon cucumbers: 2/$1
Slicer cucumbers: $1 each
Zucchini $1/lb
Rhubarb $7/package (1.5 lbs cut and washed)
Fresh herbs: $1/oz or $12/lb
Available herbs - spearmint, Thai basil, Genovese basil, lemon basil

Rhubarb!

We've been a bit busy this year and this is the first harvest that we have extra that we aren't using right away.

Each bag has been cleaned, cut, and put in a freezer bag (in case you aren't ready to use it right away).
