Hester's Homestead

Hester’s Homestead has one Whole or 2 Half Hogs available for deposit that will be ready early Nov. to go to processor that have raised on the Hester Homestead.

The Hog breed would be a mix in these percentages:

* 37.5% Gloucestershire Old Spot
* 37.5% Duroc
* 25% Red Wattle

What would this look like.

We would raise the pigs and be in charge of getting the feed for them. Customer would have the choice between purchasing a Whole or Half Hog. We will not be selling already processed meat cuts at this time.

What the consumer would be responsible for:

Deposit to hold your hog and remaining hanging weight fees once at processor payable to Hester’s Homestead. Our price sheet for Whole and Half Hogs is linked below.

Your own processing fees which would be payable directly to the processor. You will be responsible for picking up your processed meat from the processor of our choice. We will be partnering with Freedom Custom Meats in Plant City, FL for processing. Their cut sheet is also linked below.

1963 John Deere 2010 runs good but it smokes. Transmission and hydraulics work as they should. Good for parts or to restore. Comes with a two bottom plow. Does not come with a battery or top link. Message for more info.

Made and canned some homemade Hester’s Homestead beef broth!! We are so thankful for our steer that he could provide so much for us ❤️ can’t wait to cook with it!!

Happy Saturday everyone! Just wanted to throw an idea we have had out there see what the interest would be on people purchasing Whole or Half Hogs we have raised on the Hester Homestead. The Hog breed would be a mix in these percentages:
