I want to point out something in this video for all the would be trainers out there, bear in mind this is a scene from a tv show but the results of what I am going to point out would happen in real life the same as this video, notice as the stunt man mounts that his right hand is on the cantle of the saddle, when the horse blows up note where the would be rider hits the saddle, almost behind the cantle, the results of not using the horn with the right hand to mount, had he had right hand gripping the horn even though the horse blew up the rider would have hit the middle of the saddle and had a chance to make the ride, now maybe him grabbing the cantle to get on was staged the result of where he hit the saddle would have happened no matter if a scene from a movie or real life.
