Yes, it does.

Yes, it does.

The universe will set things up for you, even before you know it.

Last year there was a young lady named Kendall who drove 17 hours from Colorado to participate in a 2-day clinic at our place in Hollister. I was very impressed with her understanding and application of what she had learned from the videos, and of the job she had done with her mare. Many times at clinics people are attempting exercises that are much further along than their horse is ready for, and I have to go back and fill in the blanks, but with Kendall and her mare, we just got to add to their education.

Chatting with Kendall while she was here, she told me she has an equine science degree, and wants to be a horse trainer. One thing has led to another since then, and Kendall is coming to work for us, so I'm sure you will all become familiar with her through the videos.

With Kendall coming to work for us, we had to find her somewhere to live. We decided on buying a 5th wheel travel trailer and putting it here on our place. The search began for a trailer that was of a certain quality, size, and to fit within our budget. Robyn and I started scouring the internet, looking all over Northern California, so quite a large area, the size of some countries in Europe.

The trailers we looked at were all either too expensive, too big, too small or too run down. Finally, after a couple of weeks of searching Robyn sent me a link to one she found on Craigslist, and it was a 408 phone area code, which is not our area code, but the one next to us, so would not be too far away. I called the number and talked to the gentleman, and asked if the trailer was in Gilroy or Morgan Hill (which is where the area code is). He said "no, the trailer is in Hollister."

I said "great I live in Hollister, where in Hollister is it?"

He told me the street and I said that's only 2 streets from where we live, I'll be right over. Robyn and I drove over, and the trailer was exactly what we were looking for, the right quality, size and price. We wrote him a check right there and then and said we'd organise it to be moved to our place.

We came home and I went out to ride one of the horses. While sitting in the arena, I was looking around and suddenly I realised I could see the trailer we had just bought. For the past 2 years, it has been in the background of every video I have made in the arena!

If you look at this photo of me and Rey from November, there is a house directly behind my upper body. The trailer was parked outside that house, it's the white thing you can see just in front of my chest.

When you are on your path, the universe will conspire to help you...

Had to do it.

The problem is not the problem.....

The problem is not the problem.....

"When a wild horse 'startles' at a danger, his companions do not rush up to him with soothing noises: they look to see what the matter is. A horse expects this, and directs our attention to the source of his fear. If we behave as a horse would, and swing around to look, we can show by our calm and relaxed attitude that it is not a danger at all.

Calm treatment of panics greatly increases the horse's confidence in our leadership: finding mildly alarming but not dangerous situations and handling them well is a good way of establishing trustworthiness as a leader."

~Lucy Rees- The Horses Mind-1993

or to put in another way

"The problem is not the problem, your attitude about the problem is the problem."
