The family of George R. Smith (10/14/1949) is working with the local hospice agency to sign a petition to get this a combat field medic who served diligently in Vietnam his Purple Heart. 💜

George, a hero who dedicated his life to the service of country and fellow soldiers, never received the Purple Heart he rightfully deserves. We need his bravery duly recognized and acknowledged. He is currently residing at the King Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin, due to his rapidly deteriorating health.

Please sign this petition and share as the family and his hospice agency is bringing this petition to congress next week.

Our owner Nicole has a love for hospice and we felt this story was too sweet to share!
