Aloha friends and followers. Many of you started following my farm page to help support our little farm. Thanks to all of the support I was able to become monetized, meaning likes, comments, views and shares made us a tiny amount of money that could eventually turn into enough to help with our projects on the farm. Unfortunately there was an issue setting up the pay it account that FB has yet to help me sort out. In the meantime my Farmstand page has been growing and became monetized. I would really appreciate a follow over on Treehouse Farmstand page as it will now be the page I post all of my farm content including my farmstand updates. For those not familiar with monetization, we would love if you would like, and engage with our content if you can. If you feel inclined share with others if it would be of interest. Thank you 🙏

These 2 are so sweet. They are either like this or Hamish is harassing Fiona and she is telling him to get lost.

This weekend we an accomplished so much.

We baked our hearts out and sold out of bread and many other items at the farmstand. On Saturday, Joe set all the t-posts for our new pasture thanks to one of our sweet friends who came over with her power tools and worked with him in the rain.
Sunday morning started with bone broth to simmer all day on the stove.
The girls, Joe and I deep cleaned the bakery.
Lily gave the dogs a bath while Emma helped me up plant pepper plants to grow under the greenhouse in felt pots (another experiment). Joe fertilized our citrus.
and started build on a prototype for a new chicken tractor. This is one of three that will house our meat birds and move about in the new pasture area. For dinner, I put one of our own whole chickens in the oven to roast, along with a butternut squash from our garden. After dinner we made strawberry and triple berry jam for next weekend.

Here is our 100% homegrown dinner.

My order from Botanical Interests arrived. I am so excited about some of these varieties of tomatoes. Look for some of these starts in my farmstand since I always plant more than I have room for.

At this time Botanical Interests does not ship to Hawaii. These had to be shipped to an address on the mainland then reshipped to me. With the growing farming community in the islands we can hope that one day they may ship to us.

My variegated monstera just put out this gorgeous leaf The white parts are so fragile and sensitive to light. While most of what I grow is edible, I do have a few ornamentals that make me happy.

Our outdoor sink and processing area is taking shape. This is under the greenhouse we built last year. The rain can’t stop us from working now.

Lights are going up in our grow tent. Now we can work when the sun goes down and it’s cooler.

These 2 are almost a year old now. We will be separating them soon because Hamish is more interested in Fiona and she seems to be getting stressed. We plan to breed them in the next 6 months. Half of the piglets will be sold and half will be raised as feeders to fill our freezer.
