You would think I'd wear boots on my last trip to take cows to the meat locker!

After having cattle for 15 years, we are done. We are preparing for the next stage in our lives. It has been so fun to raise the kids in the country, riding dirt bikes/ATV/UTV, fishing in the ponds, catching tadpoles, shooting guns, having horses, pulling sleds behind the 4-wheeler, and just relaxing on the front porch. (Look for the property to go on the market in 2021.)

I do not advertise. I am not a salesperson. I simply enjoy raising beef cattle on my own 30 acres.

For over 10 years now, I have been able to fill my freezer and offer grass-fed beef to others. I never have more than 20 cows at any time (usually 15 or less), allowing them to be closely watched and cared for.

I like repeat clients because I know they enjoy the beef... and I don't have to be a salesperson.

In reality, many people don't buy every year. Freezer is too full, kids moved out, and all sorts of great reasons. (One family even moved to Hawaii!)

So... I have beef still available for this year! Please don't make me try to be a salesperson. Just contact me and let me know you'll buy a half.

Yes. I will still answer your questions. Yes. I will still welcome you to see the farm. I enjoy doing those things!

Beef Details:
- my cows are butchered at 30-36 months, after living a stress free life on pasture and growing naturally
- my beef is priced at $3.99/lb hanging wt, includes general processing
- weights last year ranged from 310-360 lbs per half hanging weight
- I use Paradise Locker Meats in Trimble, Missouri
- you provide the instructions directly to the meat locker, choosing such options as bone-in or boneless cuts, thickness of steaks, etc
- beef should be ready in the mid-late Sep timeframe
- you pick up directly from the meat locker or ask me about delivery

Each half that I have available weighs about 300 lbs, for a cost of $1200-$1225, including tax.
If you order a half within the next couple of days, you get your choice of cuts, thickness of steaks, bone-in vs boneless cuts, etc.!!
