Town & Country Nursery

Town & Country Nursery Town and Country Nursery was established in 1981 by Bob and Nancy Tabb as a nursery and landscape operation. In the last 7 years they have shifted their focus to growing produce on their 80 plus acre farm.

Town and Country Nursery is owned and operated by Bob and Nancy Tabb. In the past our main focus has been on landscaping and seeding lawns. We are shifting our focus to a plant and produce retail outlet along with our pumpkin patch

Today was a great day on the farm. Our crew got a field cleared off and the patch for the potatoes got plowed. Hoping next week to get some plants in the ground because the greenhouse and high tunnels are filling up. We are growing some beautiful produce in pots and it will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday or until we run out. The pictures are just a small sampling of what we will have available.
Open Friday 10 am to 6 pm.
Open Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm.
Thank you for supporting our farm!

Farmer Bob said it was a good weekend for popcorn, so pop on by and get a bag! (Me, "Is that a little corny?" Bob, "Yes") 🍿😊

Another productive day on the farm. We had some wonderful customers stop by and some amazing help.
Potted up some rhubarb and petunia hanging baskets.
Plowed some ground.
Cut and split some firewood for the stoves.
Topped off the day with a rain storm and a rainbow.
We will be OPEN Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
We will be CLOSED Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our plans are to plant the Tomato High Tunnel this week.
(I thought Bob had another crazy idea when he wanted the spinach in hanging baskets but it has made my job of harvesting spinach so much easier. Thank you Farmer Bob!)

Both our outdoor woodstoves are being tested in this weather. Bob had to replace the water pump on one this afternoon. I am thankful he had a replacement pump and was able to do it. While the temperature is dropping outside they are keeping our plants and produce comfy inside.
Thank you to the two customers who braved the weather to buy produce today. We will be open Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Remember to spring forward this evening for the time change.

Delivery just in from Town & Country Nursery! Sweet potatoes, butternut squash, 1 lb popcorn bags, broccoli, and cauliflower! "Song" cauliflower is a popular new variety that can tolerate growing in warmer temperatures, compared to other cool-weather varieties. The sweet and tender stems are great for dipping, and the florets separate making it very easy to slice.
