Nasturtiums, birdhouse gourds, mini pumpkins, tomatoes (can’t wait for them to ripen!), peas, yellow zucchini, sugar rush peach (will be a peach color when it ripens), purple beans, sage and the bumbler bee, celery (fist year I tried growing it!) and more. Gardening really does bring joy 🤩

This is why I moved out from the burbs! When you see a baby deer curled up, don’t try to interfere and “rescue” it. Mama is most likely off feeding and will be back. Because their scent is so faint at birth, it makes it more difficult for potential predators to sniff them out. This is also why their mothers leave them alone for long periods. They are left by themselves so their mothers’ scent does not rub off on them, making them easier to find. (Photo taken further away and zoomed in so I didn’t scare the little thing!)
