“It was a blast catching up the dudes at Spyglass! Anyone who knows me knows this was an obvious choice for one of first collaborations. This one is a doozie! Starting off with massive amounts of oats and wheat in the grist and then whirlpooling heaps of Nelson at 2 pounds to the barrel to make a wonderful base beer. We finished this one off with another massive dry hop of citra, Nelson, and peacherine! We also dosed the dry hop with Peacherine hop kief for some fantastic aroma! It pours an opaque yellow. It’s soft and pillowy on the pallet and is packed with flavor! We get a massive wave of stone fruit up front followed by a subtle dankness in the finish. We’re really happy with this one and we bet you will be too! Cheers to my boys at Spyglass! Let’s do this again!”

We got a special storm alert for you today!

This beer was a special one for us to make. A collab with our local fire departments charity foundation to show our appreciation for all that they do.

American Red Ale
5.4% ABV

Tasting Notes from our Brewer:
“Brewed for the Local 3265 Charitable Foundation we figured a red ale was the obvious choice. This classic American red ale is everything you can expect from the style. Pouring a wonderfully bright amber red hue. Notes of biscuits, toffee and roasted caramel make for plenty of flavor in this dry yet full bodied ale. A touch of bitterness from a dash of hops in the boil really round this out to make for one incredibly balanced beer. A portion of the proceeds go to the Local 3265 Charitable Foundation. Because of this we will only be offering pints and 4 packs to go. No distribution. Cheers!”

“The juice is over the top on this one! Brimming with notes of fresh pineapple, guava, passionfruit and all the stone fruits. I experimented with a new yeast that pushes thiols through the roof! Also threw in some hops I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for a while now. This one got a heavy dose of citra in the whirlpool to make for a great base beer. Dry hopped with equal parts citra, pacific sunrise and Dolcita. Hop heads come get some!”

Tasting notes from our brewer:
“This is no hazy… I wanted to bring back some nostalgia with this one. As an ode to this beautiful region and one of my classic go to beers I wanted something people can reach for that’s not too hoppy, has some residual malty sweetness and drinks super easy. It pours a nice amber color and has a nice snappy dry finish. Cheers!”
