Sunlifter
This is easily one of my favorite styles to drink. It’s not quite a l***r and not quite an ale but more of a hybrid of the 2. Conditioned just like a l***r it brings out the complexities of this unique style. It has a very subtle sweetness from the malt along with some gentle notes of pear and apple. It finishes crisp and clean. Reach for this when you’re looking for an easy drinker. Prost!

Plum Passion
Adding another sour to the rotation and this one drinks fantastic. Starting with my typical sour base b**r with a 50/50 split of pilsner and wheat and Philly sour yeast for fermentation we already have a wonderfully tart b**r. We conditioned this on copious amounts of plum and passionfruit purée and these fruits really complement each other with a subtle sweetness. Another easy drinker if sour b**rs are your thing! Cheers!

Now that my Surge recipe is exactly where I want it we decided to test the waters on a fun iteration! Using our small one barrel fermenter we made a small batch of this for just the taproom and it came out wonderful. It’s everything you’ve come to love about surge conditioned on copious amounts of mango purée. It’s thick, dank, sweet and tropical all at once. Come get it while it lasts! Cheers!

Tasting notes from our brewer:

It’s all in the name! Decided to add in some flaked wheat and boost the malted wheat on top of my typical double IPA recipe which makes for some added silkiness in the mouthfeel. Waimea is the star of the show here and it’s fantastic. Think of juicy fruit gum on top of layers of tropical goodness! I dry hopped this one with citra, Nelson bliss and Waimea and then topped it off with Waimea fresh hop juice from freestyle. Drinking so smooth for this ABV it is absolutely dangerous. Cheers!

Easily one of my favorite styles and leading into my favorite time of year. Oktoberfest b**rs always hit just right when you know cooler weather is around the corner. Ours is no different! It has all the wonderful toasty, bready, and caramel flavors you can expect along with those subtle herbal/spicy notes we get from the Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops in the boil. It finishes with just enough dryness and snap to remind you this is a l***r. We l***red this one for a solid 2 months so it’s more than ready to fill your glass! Prost!

I think we’ve found another regular addition to our rotation. Strata and Citra meld together for wonderful flavors of passionfruit, mango and strawberries. Pouring a nice opaque yellow this one drinks as you would expect. Light and fluffy with a nice silky finish. We get minimal bitters for an overall fantastic drinking experience! Cheers!

PEACH CREAM ALE

Tasting notes from our brewer:

I had some fun with this one. I wanted to make a cream ale but with what we already had in our taproom I figured let’s mix it up. With peach season upon us I decided let’s make this cream ale a little more interesting! The base b**r is your typical cream ale with just a little extra bitterness. I find the bitterness adds a little complexity once combined with peach and vanilla. Expect a nice dry b**r under a subtle sweetness. The peach and vanilla meld wonderfully in the finish. If you’re looking for a lower ABV b**r with more flavor this one’s for you! Cheers!
