There were 12 riders from Keezlenutten at the Cross Keys Equine Therapy benefit horse show today - yes 12!! I am super proud of all my riders - lots of goals accomplished ❤️ I got no pics, but I know everyone else did. I would love to see some photos, so comment with ones you got!! Good job everyone!!

Anyone missing clothes?!? I gathered up all the leftover items again and here's what I've got:
1. Greyish hoodie. Tag has been ripped out, but my guess is large?
2. Size medium zip up Reebok black sweatshirt
3. Size medium lightweight raincoat Columbia black with pink trim
4. Size medium reddish raincoat LLBean
5. Size small ash grey zip up sweatshirt American eagle

Let me know if they're yours - they're on the table upstairs. Otherwise they're getting washed and getting donated 😁

‼Show is cancelled‼
Once again, a late storm has done us in. We had a downpour that lasted over 30 mins and we have standing water throughout the entire ring. Sorry everyone! Safety is our number one concern and our base is not fully set in the new ring and it can't handle tight turns and jumping when it's overly wet.

We'll give it one more try September 12. Hopefully the weather will allow us to have some fun!!

We're looking forward to our first show of the year, this Saturday!! If you're coming from another farm, please let us know by pre-registering or sending a message. That will help Renee plan for food!

Just a reminder, schooling will be in our lower ring now. We expect that will make the show move quite a bit faster than it used to, because we won't have to stop for schooling breaks.

It feels the same every year - but I still can't believe that summer is almost over! In prep for the upcoming school year, we are starting to set up our fall lesson schedule. Send me a message (or call/text 540-290-3731) if you:

🐴 Have a kid (or an adult!!) that has been wanting to try lessons (age 6 and up)
🐴 Have ridden before but want to get back into it
🐴 Are a current student and need to change your current day/time

Get out and enjoy the GORGEOUS weather we've been having the last couple days!!

Our first horse show will be August 15. The cancelled June show has been rescheduled to September 12.

Current students, the sign up sheet will be at the barn starting tomorrow. Everyone else can use our online sign up form.
