Brewing Conjuction Imperial IPA for the summer solstice. Using Citrus strain at the top end of the fermentation temperature, which should give a citrus and tropical fruit aroma, a long with a heavy dose of Mosaic, Eureka, and Equanot hops.

Testing out a new wort chilling setup today. The idea is once the wort is down to about 160 degrees I'll switch over to a cooler with a pond pump full of ice. This should save a bunch of water from being wasted to cool it down to pitching temp.

A bit of a back story on the IGY6; Light lager, the name means "I Got Your 6" and the semi colon is for su***de awareness. It's a tribute beer for Veteran's Su***de Awareness and a tribute to all of the Veterans living with PTSD.

I wanted to give a shout out to Malts in Madras Oregon. I've recently been changing over to their malt for my beers, and I can definitely tell a difference in quality.
