As many of you know the beef market is getting out of control. It’s reaching new heights and setting new records every single week. When we started this business nearly 5 years ago the market was in a much different place. It has increased nearly 65% since we started selling our beef direct to consumer. Much of this is due to the all time historical lows in cattle numbers, lowest since 1952, and many farmers not keeping back any heifers for breeding. So we unfortunately have to raise our beef prices across the board. We are not in this business to simply break even. We just try to simply stay competitive with the market and to make it financially make sense to supply delicious beef for you all.
We will honor current pricing through Sept 1st for what beef inventory we have currently, but once freezers are restocked, prices will be going up. The best way to save money and get the same high quality beef you enjoy, is to buy it in bulk, either by purchasing a quarter, half, or whole, or by purchasing your favorite cuts in bulk numbers.
