Just when you thought there was enough excitement for one farm, a couple of cute chicks surprise us all. These two hatched in our grain wagon, of all places. We’ve been patiently waiting for about 30 days for them to hatch, and they hatched with a lot of sass.

Aren’t these ducklings cute?! We had 5 clutches of eggs hatch within a week of each other. There’s almost 30 ducklings in total!

Fun fact: Ducklings grow at a fast rate and can double in size in a week. These ducklings have done just that!

Misfit Acres is back!

Yesterday we added a new addition to our herd. Meet Bluebelle! She’s a Jersey that is currently in milk. We are excited to learn about her and look forward to taking care of her.

Bluebelle is super curious and loves attention. She also knows commands and comes to her name.
