Kelliher Area Food Shelf – Yesterday’s Impact (5/27)

Yesterday we served 33 households and 79 neighbors, including:
• 18 children
• 30 adults
• 31 seniors

A huge thank you to our volunteers, with a special shoutout to Jennifer Nelson, for mowing and helping keep our space welcoming — and to all the volunteers who ran shopping day.

We’re also grateful to West Wind Resort for donating fresh potatoes, onions, and carrots.

The Kelliher Area Food Shelf is experiencing a shortage of meat/protein right now.

If you’re able, we would truly appreciate:

• Monetary donations, which help us purchase needed protein
• Meat donations such as chicken, beef, pork, or venison

All donated meat must come from a licensed butcher or grocery store to meet food‑safety requirements.

Your support makes a real difference for local families.

The Kelliher Area Food Shelf served our community again on Wednesday, May 13th, supporting:

• 48 households, including 4 new households
• 125 individuals in total
• 40 children (0–17)
• 56 adults (18–64)
• 29 seniors (65+)

Our next shopping day is after Memorial Day — Wednesday, May 27th from 10am to 12pm.

Everyone is welcome. No judgement. No requirements.
