We absolutely love here on the farm – they're seriously our favorite flower! We're big fans of everything about them: you can cut them and they'll just keep coming back, they're super simple to grow, and you get so much variety. This year, we've figured out that if we just let them bloom a bit longer before cutting, the flowers are way fuller. It's awesome! Now we just need to figure out how we can get them to bloom earlier.

Wow! I think we might have grown the biggest Zinnia in Silver Valley! We're definitely collecting the seeds from this one so we can breed more of them.

Our zinnias are now in bloom! Zinnias are one of our essential flowers on the farm because they are cut-and-come-again and last a remarkably long time in a vase. Marigolds consistently steal the show; I love how tall they grow and the impressive size of their flowers. Lastly, our dahlias are really starting to bloom now, and by the end of the week, we'll have so many to cut! We've also added some new varieties to the farm and are eagerly awaiting their first flowers.

A fundamental aspect of our mission involves implementing natural farming techniques. We are proud of not using pesticides on our farm, which is demonstrated by the presence of ladybugs on our flowers. Occasionally, you might even find a ladybug in one of our bouquets.

Currently, we have an abundance of zinnia buds. However, since most of our zinnias are double varieties, waiting a bit longer to harvest will result in even more spectacular blooms. Our statice is also nearing readiness. The scabiosa is already quite impressive, growing tall and flowering profusely. Our strawflowers remain a reliable producer and have been home to hundreds of ladybugs this year. Many people are asking about our dahlias; they've been slow this year, but they're growing tall and developing buds. We hope to have a consistent supply in about another week.

It's nearly the end of July, and the farm is in full bloom. We wanted to give you an update on the current stage of the flowers. Hopefully, you can look forward to some of the varieties we've shown today being ready in about one to two weeks.

Our first blooms are officially here! 🌸 It's amazing to see hellebores pushing through the snow, and the anemones joined them early this year. Fall planting and our low tunnels really paid off, plus a mild winter gave us a head start. We couldn't ask for a better beginning to our 3rd season as cut flower farmers!
