SHOWMANSHIP UPDATE

Since we’ve made several changes this year, we will not be holding showmanship classes in 2027. Cattlemen’s Congress has requested that showmanship be held in a separate arena, so we would like to see how this year goes with all of the new changes before adding showmanship in another building.

If the turnout in 2027 goes well, we will definitely discuss bringing showmanship back for 2028!

We hope you understand and don’t let this steer you away from attending the show. Cattlemen’s Congress is an awesome opportunity to showcase the Scottish Highland breed, and it’s also just a lot of fun. It’s not a show you want to miss!

WHERE DOES YOUR SPONSORSHIP MONEY GO?

The Highland Show Committee does not receive any of the entry fees paid to Cattlemen’s Congress. Sponsorship funding helps us cover the judge’s fee, as well as additional banners, awards, and other items for our exhibitors.

We greatly appreciate everyone who sponsors and supports the Highland Show!
