Can't believe it's officially September! I've certainly been enjoying the cooler weather and the farm has been getting a much needed deep drink of water (our irrigation system this season has been less than ideal so it's definitely welcomed). I know the sun will be back bc summer definitely isn't over yet! and the plants will be extra happy.

This farm season has been all the things, mostly me realizing I need extra help! Which last week a family friend came to stay and wow what a difference a second set of hands make! Feeling like I can breathe for the first time all year 💨. And they will be around until mid October so I feel like I really have been blessed🙏❤️✨

The last couple of weeks have been pretty intense around here! Usually, I loveeee the heat, but the heat mixed with the smoke and honestly just not feeling well made for one of the most challenging weeks I can remember since I started farming over a decade ago.

I don’t know if it actually was the most challenging, or if I’m just learning my limits, but I feel like I’ve definitely been testing those limits lately, and it’s left for one exhausted farmer 😴😴

This season, I’ve pretty much been a one-woman show, and I’m definitely feeling it! The farm doesn't slow down just because I'm slowing down.

This weekend, I’ve decided I will be only doing our Saturday market.

Come say hi, grab some local veggies & flowers, and support all the other amazing small businesses.
