A lot of discussion on price of beef right now and rightly so. Beef consumption has hit a 40-year peak--going back to the 1980 levels. I just went online to Walmart and you can buy a pound of ground beef in the $4-$7 range depending on your choice of lean percentage. It's not to high and it's a lot more nutritious than a lot of other things we're paying $4-7 for these days to consume. Oh and that labor statistic is from CattleFax.
