Karluk Acres

Karluk Acres Karluk Acres is a small family farm in Kenai,Alaska. We raise heritage breeds of pig, goats, LGD’s, turkeys, chickens, ducks and geese.

We raise Kunekune pigs, dairy & meat goats, Karakachan livestock guardian dogs,chickens, Welsh Harlequin ducks, and Cotton Patch geese in a pasture/forest setting. We also have a graden, greenhouse, and keep bees. We use natural practices in order to provide our animals a good life, use the different animal classes to fill specific niches in creating a permaculture farm system, and provide our customers with natural, healthy, humanely raised, local food.

We have been enjoying our Angora goat herd lately, with our annual field trip to Mountain View Elementary for the Goat in the Rug unit. We also added a new buck and doe to our herd so that we can breed our own Angoras. Meet Speck and Sahara, who travelled with us from Fairbanks.
