Sage had 6 healthy piglets and one stillborn this evening and I believe I have my last Ewe lambing sometime in the next 24 hours and my last pig to Farrow in the next few days. Farming, raising 4 kids, finishing my house and trying to get ready to move is like 3 full time jobs. Even though I'm covered in hay, and blood and birth remnants, I will miss it when this chapter of my life ends. Some day I will own a farm again. It is my happy place. ❤️

Hooves and tusks are trimmed. Piggies have been dewormed. Pen and barns cleaned. Electric fence, tree damaged rail and watering system clean and fixed. 2 sows due anytime. They will move up to the barn Tuesday to await baby piggies! One spring farm chore done... 700 more to go. 🥴

There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done that I need to get done but the kids are fed and bathed and in bed and the animals are all tucked in for the night. I leave town in 12 hours and I haven't even started packing. 🥴
