In May 2014, Jackson and his wife, Alison, realized their dream of opening their own restaurant on the shores of southern Maine. SALT & HONEY bridged Jackson's innovative culinary expertise with his love for locally sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch recipes. Nestled into Kennebunkport's Dock Square, SALT & HONEY served classic and fresh takes on breakfast, lunch and dinner. SALT & HONEY op

ened on the 2nd floor of 24 Ocean Avenue, just a stone's throw from the shops of Dock Square. Our outdoor seating on the upper deck was open seasonally and we would gladly accommodate dogs. Salt & Honey offered an excellent selection of house cocktails and wine as well. Though the brick and mortar location has moved on, Jackson's flare, flavor and raw talent continues. Catering large and private events with custom chef creations, in Southern Maine and beyond, he continues to impress and surprise in his culinary ventures.

Swimming is still possible, the fish are plentiful, and the tourists are gone. Now’s the smart time to head to the region’s lakes and beaches.

Tonight is the last night of the Italian dinner series at Salt and Honey.
Chef Jackson Yordon has truly enjoyed hosting Chef Nickolas Rizzo (formerly of the White Barn Inn) into the kitchen this week for some back to basics cooking.
The simple yet delicious food of Italy has been truly a joy to make and taste.
If you came in the weekend we hope you enjoyed the flavors we created, and if you haven't been in, then tonight's the night..
We hope to see you soon.
