We are going to start off our 2023 year with the woman who started it all, the Mompops powerhouse who saw an increasing need for an all inclusive treat that everyone could enjoy!
Sandra "The Mom" Ostrander is the definition of altruistic. She has always put the needs of others before herself.
During her time as a music educator she quickly realized a rise in food allergies, dietary restrictions, and an increase in obesity, It became clear there was a problem that needed a solution. She knew that the only option was a simple, clean, portioned controlled treat. Keep it simple!
With the help of her son Issa, they tinkered with a few different shapes, sizes, and flavors of ice pops before landing on our signature 1 oz pop and core flavors.
Whether she was slinging pops at various events, farmers markets, coming into the production plant to lend a helping hand, or even bringing some home cooked food for the team, Sandra's selflessness is second to none.
Every day we strive to pour in the same amount of love, care, and compassion that Sandra did starting off.
In this new year we are doubling down on "spreading Pop Love" and it's all because of Sandra!
