🌊 Tsunami took on IRONMAN! ❤️

What an incredible weekend! Tsunami Catering had the privilege of working alongside Cuisine Solutions for IRONMAN 70.3 Washington right here in the Tri-Cities.

Cuisine Solutions is the global leader in sous vide and the Official Sous Vide Food Partner of the IRONMAN North American Series. They brought their incredible products, culinary expertise and chefs — and trusted Tsunami to be their local culinary and hospitality partner here in the Tri-Cities.

After months of our office staff planning with Effie, Laura and Chef Andy Lisnoff from Cuisine Solutions, our kitchen became their local home base. Our culinary team worked alongside their chefs to execute their menus and recipes — sourcing fresh ingredients, preparing components and house-made dressings, composing finished dishes to their specifications, and preparing thousands of portions throughout the weekend. We also supported their high-volume sampling operation, giving IRONMAN guests the opportunity to experience Cuisine Solutions' food.

On race day, part of Team Tsunami served breakfast and lunch in the VIP tent while another part of our crew supported the Cuisine Solutions sampling experience — all while IRONMAN athletes tackled a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run! 🏊🚴🏃

It was incredible to see an event of this scale come together in our community and to witness the athletes, volunteers and countless people behind the scenes who made IRONMAN 70.3 Washington such an amazing experience.

And about the photos... 😂 When the entire team — including the owners — is too busy working the IRONMAN to remember to stop for a beautiful team picture, these are the pictures you get. And we wouldn't trade them. They tell the real story. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of our team and so grateful to Cuisine Solutions and IRONMAN for allowing Tsunami to be part of such an extraordinary weekend. Cuisine Solutions' team was wonderful to work with, their food was exceptional, and getting to play a role in an event of this magnitude right here in the Tri-Cities is something we won't soon forget.

You might say Cuisine Solutions brought the amazing sous vide... and Tsunami brought the wave. 🌊😉

One of the sweetest parts of fair week was having our daughter, Adelaide, Miss Tri-Cities, come hang out with us backstage for a little while. ❤️

After a very busy week of catering backstage, it was pretty special to get a few minutes together and share a little piece of this experience with her.

We may have been working, but moments like this are what make fair week so memorable. ❤️🎡

What a great way to close out Fair week! 🎶❤️

Our final night at the Benton-Franklin County Fair was with El Jerry, and as always, it was such a pleasure taking care of the band and crew backstage.

We always enjoy working with the Mexican bands that come through the Fair. They are incredibly gracious and such a pleasure to take care of — and there’s something especially fun about stepping out from backstage and seeing a crowd full of people dancing, singing along and simply enjoying the music together. 💃🎶

A wonderful way to finish another year of backstage catering and hospitality at the Fair. ❤️

Friday night at the Benton-Franklin County Fair was The Art of Rap, featuring Ice-T, DJ Evil E, DJ Kevie Kev Rockwell and host Mick Benzo. 🎤

Another night of taking care of the artists and crew backstage and getting a front-row glimpse of a very different kind of show!

One more concert to go as we head into the final day of Fair week. ❤️

Yesterday was a bit of a blur and we never got a chance to post, but what an incredible night! 🎸🔥

We had the pleasure of providing backstage catering and hospitality for Skillet and their crew at the Benton-Franklin County Fair.

One of our favorite parts of concert week is getting to take care of the artists and crews behind the scenes—and then, when everything is taken care of, stepping over to the stage and enjoying a little bit of the show ourselves.

Skillet was incredible, and we’re grateful to be a small part of making these nights happen. ❤️
