The wait is finally over—and she was worth every second!

Yesterday, we welcomed one of the most highly anticipated crias of the year to Badger Canyon Farm. We are thrilled to introduce Badger Canyon's World of Wonder, affectionately known as "Wowie."

This extraordinary female is the result of a pairing we have been dreaming about for quite some time: Badger Canyon's Sweet Alora, our 3x National Champion and one of the most decorated females in our program, and Estates Sakima's Braxton, an elite herdsire known for his exceptional fleece qualities, phenotype, and impressive show-ring success.

For those who have followed Alora's journey over the years, you know just how much she means to us. She has exceeded our expectations time and time again, and we had high hopes when we paired her with Braxton. Seeing this beautiful female finally on the ground is incredibly exciting and rewarding.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Cinco C's Alpacas and Little Creek Farm Alpacas for making Braxton available to us. We are grateful for the opportunity to incorporate his outstanding genetics into our program.

We have a feeling this little girl is just beginning to show us why she earned the name World of Wonder. Stay tuned—something tells us Wowie's story is only getting started.

What a wonderful weekend it has been here at Badger Canyon Farm!

Yesterday, after a challenging delivery, we welcomed a beautiful white female cria into the world. We're happy to report that both mom and baby are doing wonderfully. This resilient little girl is already showing off a bright, fine, silky fleece and a strong spirit to match. In honor of her determined start, we've named her Badger Canyon's Valeria, a name meaning strong, brave, and healthy.

Then today brought another delightful surprise! We discovered that Badger Canyon's Sabel had quietly delivered a stunning female cria of her own. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our friends and partners, Ben and Angela Tharp of Alpacachino Ranch. As the proud owners of Sabel, they are now celebrating the arrival of this beautiful little girl as well. Adding to the excitement, Ben and Angela also co-own her sire, Badger Canyon's Destined King, who continues to impress us all with the quality of his offspring. We've chosen the name Badger Canyon's Southern Belle, a fitting name for a young lady who is sure to turn heads and capture hearts as she makes her way to her new home in North Carolina.

This was not how we expected our Saturday to go. First let me say, everyone, including all of our 4 legged critters are fine, but this was way too close for our liking. For several hours today, we weren't sure how things were going to go. It all depended on which way the wind would blow. Thankfully for us, the winds were in our favor and the fire did not jump the canal. It appears that most of the fire is now contained thanks to the work of several helicopters and many fire crews.

Meet An Angel Among Us, an incredible 4 time champion Jeremiah's Peruvian Jumanji daughter. Angel is a brilliant medium fawn with perfect conformation! She is phenotypically beautiful with fleece that is bright, long, exceptionally fine, crimpy and dense with excellent uniformity! The number 1 thing that we love about Angel is her lasting fineness. At the age of 8 she still has maintained a 23.4 micron fleece!

Over the year’s she has given us 5 beautiful cria’s, and every single one of them is a multi champion! Her most notable offspring Badger Canyon’s Angel’s Grace is the dam to 19 time champion Badger Canyon’s Destined King. And her other offspring Badger Canyon’s Angel’s Honor has produced one of our best cria from our 2025 cria crop!

Angel is currently bred to Badger Canyon’s Laszlo by Bram for what should be a phenomenal 2027 cria!
