We could not be more proud of how Kid ROC of Cedar and Sage (Proudly co-owned with Cedar & Sage Alpacas) performed at the Iowa show this past weekend!! He brought his two banners and held his own placing now lower than 3rd in large classes of 9!

We are so excited for this males future! And a huge congratulations goes to Cedar and Sage Alpacas for producing this fabulous alpaca!

How did alpacas enter our lives?

It all started with a move to Eastern Washington and a dream of owning a little piece of land. We were excited about the idea of raising our kids on a small hobby farm, surrounded by the agricultural lifestyle that makes this part of Washington so special.

As we began researching what animals we might want on our future farm, we stumbled across alpacas. At the time, we knew absolutely nothing about them! One Google search led to another, followed by a visit to a local alpaca farm and our very first alpaca show. Somewhere along the way, curiosity turned into fascination, and before we knew it, we were hooked!

Little did we know that those first encounters would lead to something so much bigger than the little hobby farm we originally envisioned.

The spark was lit, and the rest, as they say, is history!

With us needing to make room for next year’s cria’s we are proud to offer you one of our best producers! Meet Sage Bluff’s Arctica (Tica), she is the dam to none other than champion Badger Canyon’s Pirouette, Badger Canyon’s Valrhona, and Badger Canyon’s Sweet Godiva

Tica has always been one of our best dams. She breeds easily, carries to term, births unassisted and delivers healthy, strong babies. Along with that she has two fawn colored parents which lead to her having the Ee AA genotype. And best of all her cria’s are exceptional!

She is currently open but does sell with a breeding to ANY of our herdsire’s. We would recommend either Badger Canyon’s Destined King or Estates Dark Venom.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! Because for now she is priced to sell. So please feel free to free to PM us with any questions!

🌟BREAKING NEWS: LIMITED TIME OFFER🌟

As a special limited time offer, Badger Canyon’s Destined King has been re-opened to East Coast ONLY breedings! Since Destined King is on the east coast until early Spring he is being re-opened to 5 outside breedings at $2,500 each! So this is an excellent one time opportunity for east coasters who missed their chance to get one before he closes again!

Destined King is the cornerstone of our dark program! He has won 23 banners (and counting) 13 advanced fleece awards, and the incredible title of Number One Huacaya Male in the Country for Fleece 2025! Even as he ages his fleece is still incredible with his two year old fleece scoring as high as 83 points! Along with all of that his EE a1a2 genotype makes it so he will ONLY produce colored offspring!

His offspring are sensational! Amazing bone, excellent coverage/phenotypes, and best of all the fleeces!! Dense dense dense, uniform not only in micron but also across he blanket, long stapling, and amazing brightness.

This is a one time opportunity!! So don’t wait too long and miss out! Contact Ben Tharp or Angela Tharp of Alpacachino Ranch to secure yours before he closes again!! Once again this is East coast ONLY!

After almost a year, 2 of the 3 Canadian girls are finally here!!

Yesterday we finally brought home Miss Andean Shadow Du DNA, and her gorgeous daughter Badger Canyon’s Moonlight Vale. They both are so sweet, and Vale shows so much potential! We are so excited to have them here and we love them already 🥰!

A massive thank you goes out to everyone who made getting these girls here possible! Thank you to Domaine des Nobles Alpagas for selling them to us, thank you to Arriba Linea Alpacas for taking such great care of them while they were in quarantine, thank you to Autumn Mist Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill LLC for taking care of them once they crossed the border, and finally thank you to Kristian Thordarson for getting them all the way to the west coast! They wouldn’t be here without all of you ❤️!
