Rustic Road Brewing Company has refurbished their kitchen and chips will be made this week!

What flavors you ask? So far Cheese Pizza, Evrything Bagellike, and Memphis BBQ. More flavors of chips, cheese and salsa will be posted later in the week!

As you hopefully know, Kenosha Harbor Market is still filled with amazing vendors! We're there 10/17, 10/24 and 10/31 between 9 am and 2 pm! You can find WisConian Delectables on the Plaza de Douai 201 56th St.

Come shop for produce, flowers - I bought a bouquet from Qer Floral and a Dutch Apple Pie from Van Laar's to celebrate my birthday- NUMMY!! There's jewelry, olive oil, crafts and so much ETC!!

Where's your next favorite cheese coming from? WisConian Delectables we hope!

C H E E S E? I MAKE CHIPS - hand crafted chips...just not the hundreds and hundreds I used to before covid. So, yes, I added CHEESE!

Do you know where Decatur Dairy is located? It's a lovely 2 hour drive westward to Brodhead! When taking a friend, including lunch, it's about a 5 hour round trip drive. Why do I do this?? Somedays I ask myself that question. :)

You can find cheese in oh so many stores. But I bring you, not just ANY cheese - these cheeses. FRESH from the dairy! As well as several other "unique" varieties from Pine River Dairy! Where's that you ask? Manitowoc! That cheese is overnighted to me "weather permitting"! There's only so many hours in the week, right?

I'll also have the Stettler and Golden Swiss from Decatur as well as the Blue Cheddar, Black Garlic Peppercorn Cheddar, Hatch Chili Cheddar, Apple Cheddar, Strawberry Cheddar and Dill Farmer from Pine River. Why so many cheddars? HARD, aged, cheeses hold up better when it's warm outside and this weekend looks warmer again! Regardless, all cheese is kept in coolers with lots of ice you you've got plenty of time to get it home!

APPLES...

Have you been anxiously waiting to know when the APPLE Pie Crust Chips were coming to Kenosha Harbor Market? They're for the end of Oktoberfest - October 3rd!

The wait is over! APPLE Pie Crust, Bier, Honey'd Garlic, Loaded "Baked Potato", Some Like it HOT (although some do like it even hotter!) and Sweet Maui Onion are showing up this Saturday!

Also appearing will be various APPLE items from Yaeger's Farm Market: APPLE Salsa, APPLE Hickory BBQ Sauce and No Sugar Added APPLE BUTTER!

PLUS... APPLE Cheddar Cheese from Pine River Dairy!

Trying to see the silver lining whenever possible? Or maybe just the Chicago Skyline?

If you've read my personal post (Anna Moldenhauer) you already know it's been a few days of "drama" here at home.

Although I had to cancel this week's production because my focus has been the saving of my home basement from the gross "small clog", it is my plan to attend Kenosha Harbor Market on the Plaza de Douai this Saturday 9/26

And...THANKFULLY, OctoberFest runs through October 4th! So, I will make special chips next week for the October 3rd Market.

Come see us with chips made at Rustic Road Brewing Company, cheese from Decatur Dairy and Pine River Dairy, salsa and other jarred Amish goods from Yaeger's Farm Market!

Just stop by and say "HI" - positive vibes are definitely needed!!

As you're aware, Kenosha Harbor Market is held "rain or shine"...as are most markets.

As of now, tomorrow's forecast calls for the likelihood of precipitation before and/or during market hours. Will it be safe to have the market? Will thunderstorms lurk on the lakefront like this picture shows? Unknown.

For WisConian Delectables? We are choosing to keep our chips safe and dry...along with our humans.

On the positive side that means MORE chips to celebrate OktoberFest next Saturday, Sept 26th!

Starting the week listing the flavors of chips being made at Rustic Road Brewing Company for the Kenosha Harbor Market for September 19th.

Rain Rain go away - ok I'll agree rain's better than the stinging critters, but is it?

Trust me...I, unlike this painted pony, do not melt in the rain. But my chips do. And this week looks like we're potentially getting some every day...all the way through the following Tuesday 9/22! So with rain forecast from tomorrow 9/14 through the weekend, I'm concerned.

Or..........the winds of change will blow and the rains will dissipate and I'm simply left with secretly hoping for a day off.

Chips will get made. Your choices will be Garlic Peppercorn, Taco'd, White Cheddar, CinnaBun, A Green Onion and BBQ'd Bacon.

AHHHHHH...It's been C R A Z Y! There's never enough time in the week and I'm never sure what I'll have left for Kenosha Harbor Market! Finally, here's the scoop!

Chips made at Rustic Road Brewing Company can be reserved from the time I list the flavors (typically on Sunday) through Friday evening - and this week there's about HALF of what's usually made heading for the Plaza. That's awesome! Or not...because like most things, it depends on your point of view. I will have a few bags of Lightly Salted CORN Chips as well as the "regular" Habanero Parm, Campfire, Garlic'n Butter, White Cheddar, Cherry Crusted and Ranch Chips.

Yaeger's Farm Market Amish goods require hours of driving and sometimes, like this week, I'm out of several salsa choices as well as some of the pickled items. Why? well, not to complain, but there was Labor Day, extended family in from Argentina and Tennessee, and voila! Another week and it's time to go to the Market. I do have got most of the best sellers on hand - just not all. No Tiny Beets. Yes...I will see the Yaegers this coming week.

However...this coming week I won't have time to make more chips, get Amish goods and head to dairies for cheese! C R A Z Y!!

So, tomorrow I do have Decatur Dairy's Golden Swiss, Stettler Swiss, Butterkase, Ukrainian, Sharp Cheddar (oops, it just sold out as I'm posting as have the Curds), Black Pepper Parm, various spread cheese AND BUTTERS - unsalted, Cinnamon, Bacon and Herb from PRD.

Shipping cheese/butter this time of year isn't easy (if at all) and so the Salted Butter, Mozzarella Whips, Strawberry Cheddar, Apple Cheddar, Blue Cheese Cheddar etc etc from Pine River Dairy just have to wait.

On the table will be Silver Creek Specialty Meats Summer Sausage Logs and Bundles of Jim's Blue Ribbon and a selection of wild rice blends from Rice River Farms.

Hopefully you know you get discounts and freebies when you bring your WD Tote Bag and you save even more when you pre-order!
