With profound sadness, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend, valued employee, and cherished coworker, Jerry White. This past Monday, Jerry tragically lost his life in an automobile accident on his way home from work.
Jerry joined our team as a truck driver in 2015. Over the years, his dedication and hard work left an indelible mark on all of us. Jerry was more than just a part of our team; he was family.
Jerry loved his truck, especially enjoying the harvest season and hauling rock. Along with being accountable, he was very particular and could effortlessly recall the addresses and load/unload schedules for every elevator and terminal he hauled to and from. He was also a weather bug and never failed to give us all the daily weather report and road conditions. Jerry was also a very proud Dad and Grandpa to his daughter Ashley and grandson Zachary. He would tell stories about Ashley, always saying she was “Daddy’s girl” and that she was “just like her old man.”
We will forever cherish the memories and the camaraderie Jerry brought into our lives. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will always remain a part of our family.
Our deepest condolences to Ashley, Zachary, and special friend Beverly, along with Jerry's family and friends. May you find comfort and strength in the cherished memories you shared with Jerry.
