Whippoorwill Dairy Farm We are a partner owned diversified farm located near the seacoast of NH. We currently raise and sell beef, cows milk yogurt and pints/ quarts of ice cream.

We also sell manure in bags/by bucket in warm months.

Why does our milk taste different and so good....

🤣🤣 Precaution is our human foodie cow. She just ate two apples and smelt the fries. No food or coffee is safe around these ladies, they beg worse than dogs!

Happy Friday!

Today's raining and cold so I thought i would share the view our calves get while they can lay in the sun! These babies have the choice of lounging in the sun or sleeping in a cozy hay bedding! Soon it will be blanket season for them when it gets cold but for now, they get to watch the leaves change on the trees🍂🍂

One year ago today we took a huge turn in our business, left the coop we were a part of for seven years and started bottling our own milk! It's been a wild year figuring out markets, how to make different products, using our milk to make our ice cream and keeping up with the demand!

Everyone meet Peaches... The calf that was born different! Peaches is now a month old, we wanted to share her when she was strong and thriving!

Peaches was born with a cleft palate, with her other nostril on the roof of her mouth. Over the last month, she has learned to drink her bottle like a champ, eat grain and drink water. She lives with other calves her size but gets a bottle instead so she can eat at her speed and not choke on it!

She runs around with her tongue out and drooling all the time but being different has not slowed her down. Her moo is definitely different and I'll have to catch her one of these days to share, she sees us and thinks she needs milk everytime!

She may be a half beef cow but she's here for life! Her next task is trying hay/grass for the first time...we will keep you updated when she does🥰🥰

‼️Our ice cream truck has a leak in the gas line somewhere and since the truck is ancient, parts needed to be ordered and made. We WILL be at Hampton Falls Farmers market but you will find us in a tent with all to go items, no scoops!

Happy Monday!!

The ladies and gentlemen are out grazing the Sorghum Sudan grass we have growing and cutting all summer! It's a drought loving crop but does slow down when it starts to get cooler and dies with the frost! For now, they will enjoy it and run through it like a maze

Pluto now sits at almost 6 ft tall... Some of the grass is over 8 ft tall!.. if you're new here, Pluto is our Brahman Holstein cross pet who we decided to keep and see how big he would actually get🤣🤣 well keep you posted as he's only 3.5 years old😅
