Dear people of Kent city and surrounding areas. The last 12 years have been a blur, we came in, got our first hives and hit the ground running. It’s with a little bit of sadness and a lot of excitement and anticipation that I say we are closing down now as we move the Farm to Beaver Island. If you haven’t gotten honey yet it’s not too late. You can call or text Nick at 760-801-2057 and we will bee happy to help you. Nick will be making the first trip to the island Sept 3 so we ask that you get your purchases on before then. The website will be going down soon also and so will the phone number for the apiary so direct message to Nick or Nicole is the best bet. We want to thank you for years of smiles and support as we found our way from our beginnings. Don’t be sad that it’s over just be happy that it happened and don’t be too shy to visit the Beaver Island Honey Co if you’re on the island ❤️🐝

**Edited below!** Thank you to everyone who came to our moving sale! We were so moved by former students from mead and beekeeping classes showing up to bid us a fond farewell!! We can’t thank you all enough for the support we’ve received over the years and we hope you continue to follow us as we transition to becoming Beaver Island Honey Company.

We do have a few big pieces from the sale available and of course we still have honey available! DM us if you still need some honey or wax wraps!

Our home will be listed soon so if you know anyone who’s looking to relocate here please DM us too!!

For those that are wanting some info: Our house/barn/garden is on about 2 acres of land. The house is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath split level with a basement.

Hi guys!!! I know you all are chomping at the bit to kick off bee season! We are expecting for the nucs to be ready at end of May-beginning of June. We do this to ensure you get a well populated hive that will be strong and healthy. Each nucleus colony will include a 2026 queen with a 30 day guarantee, so that means if for some reason the queen isn’t viable we will replace her. We do offer a free beekeeping class that will be held on pick up day so you can refresh your knowledge.
