One of our favorite hobbies is identifying birds in nature. Today we listened and found 8 different bird species around the farm.

This is such a fun activity to do with children, and also helps you refocus your energy to be in the present moment and connected with your surroundings.

Foraging for mushrooms on the farm this morning. Collected 15 different varieties and not one of them considered edible. But nonetheless, the Pacific Northwest has so much to offer. 🍄
