Well, we let the salmon go today. Hopefully they all survive. We have a boat harassing cormorants so that’s cool. We still need help though we have to pull the pens out of the water, pressure wash the nets, and fold the nets.
If you have an opportunity, please help with the remaining work.
Also a huge thank you to Mike Greger, Ken Vivlamore Chaz Townsend, and Joe Allowattfor the help feeding!

Also thank you to Gatlin and Mark at Ernst's Lake Breeze Marina for allowing this to happen.

None of this would be possible without all the behind the scenes, and hard work from
Bob Songin. big thanks buddy

If you helped and I didn’t mention you… thank you for your time.

Hi everyone,

We have an update from the DEC as to when we can expect the fish to be stocked...We are anticipating a possible stock date of April 3 at 9 am.

We will keep everyone updated when we get more concrete information!

*****************************************

“The growth projections from the hatchery look like we could start pen stocking during the first week of April. Please make sure that your pen project is ready to receive fish. Actual stocking dates will depend on growth of the Chinooks and logistics around the steelhead egg take. The priority order for pen stocking is below. It usually takes two weeks or more to get all the pen sites stocked and the hatchery is dealing with COVID protocols this year so please be patient and flexible.”
