Can anyone guess what we were doing at 11:30 last night?!? 🤦‍♀️🦨 Stoney spotted Pepe Le Pew and, naturally, Aria and Halo decided this was a group project.

The skunk won.

Fast forward to midnight and we’re standing in the back porch with Dawn, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda, questioning every life choice that led us to this moment. 😂

For those keeping score:

🐶 Stoney: 0
🐶 Aria: 0
🐶 Halo: 0
😴 Sleep: 0

Needless to say, everyone got skunked and here we are…

If anyone needs me today, I’ll be the one smelling phantom skunk every time I walk past a dog. 🦨🐶😂

Aria discovered the sprinkler today and decided its greatest enemy was, apparently, water. 💦🐶😂

So naturally she started trying to bite every drop coming out of it.

Stoney watched this unfold for approximately 3.7 seconds before deciding:

“You know what? That actually looks like a great idea.”

And just like that, I had 200 pounds of Cane Corso taking turns attacking the garden sprinkler while the water continued to win every single round. 💀

Aria: “GET IT!”
Stoney: “I CAN HELP!”
Sprinkler: “You two are idiots.”

The garden got watered.
The dogs got soaked.
Nobody learned anything.

10/10 entertainment. 🌱💦🐾

What makes me happy? ❤️🐔

It’s a splash Silverrudd Blue hen hunting bugs in the grass. A Silkie mix doing Silkie things. A beautiful OE backcrossed BCM rooster showing off. A tiny black-and-white mottled Cochin bantam hen. An olive egger disappearing into the tall weeds. A Marans hen scratching around the farm. And a fluffy little Silkie hen following along behind.

Just chickens being chickens on a warm day.

These little moments, the colors, the personalities, the egg baskets, and the peace that comes with watching them free range across the farm… that’s my happy place. ❤️

Aria has made it abundantly clear that she did not receive the “leave the baby bunnies alone” memo. 🐰💔

As much as I love wildlife, farm dogs are going to farm dog, and Aria has exactly zero mercy when it comes to rabbits.

RIP little bunnies. 😔

Meanwhile, Aria is over here looking like she’s expecting Employee of the Month for her pest control services.

“Mom, I protected the property. You’re welcome.” — Aria.

🐐❤️ A very special introduction is in order… Everyone meet Babushka, affectionately known as Baby!

Our newest addition to StoneHeart Heritage Acres is a registered Myotonic (fainting) goat with a personality that is somehow equal parts sweet baby and grumpy old grandmother. 😂

Within hours of arriving, she had already:

✅ Inspected the property
✅ Tested the climbing equipment
✅ Sampled the local cuisine (weeds)
✅ Started judging everyone’s life choices

We’re excited to watch her grow and become part of the herd. Something tells me she’s going to keep us laughing for years to come.

Welcome home, Baby. 🐐💕 We can’t wait to see what kind of trouble you get into next!

Field trip day for the tiny dinosaurs! 🐣🌞

The babies are spending some supervised time in their enclosure inside the big run so they can start getting used to the sights, sounds, and occasional judgmental stares from the adult chickens 😂🐔

Lots of wing flapping, tiny zoomies, and very important chick business taking place today.
