A student-created mural honoring the Seattle Black Panthers is back on display at Franklin High School.

After several panels of a mural honoring the Seattle Chapter of the Black Panther Party were vandalized, current and former Franklin students, teaching artists, and community volunteers spent months repairing the work.

They also created something new: a mural featuring a quote from Black Panther Party member Ericka Huggins about interconnectedness and collective change.
