Have you heard about Heather's passion for gardening? Well, her pop up flower stand was so popular last weekend at MacLaren cottage that we built a proper farm stand. It is currently stocked with fresh flower bouquets, herb bundles, and handmade gifts. Seasonal fruits and veggies from the property will become available very soon. She also makes fresh lavender wreaths if pre ordered. Please message us if you'd like to know more. Open 9-2 Fri-Sun and she's happy to open it for you if you have a wine tasting appt. It’s the time of year when we start to enjoy picnics for dinner on a hot day with a glass of cellar-temp MacLaren wine. When you visit us this summer, you will enjoy our wines while learning which summer foods pair best with them. Who doesn’t love an intoxicating sweet pea tower? How about two? We do our best to attract as many pollinators as possible to our property and we welcome visitors to bring home a hand-picked bouquet from our cut garden beds. Anytime you visit for a wine tasting or pick up, feel free to bring a small vase and fill it with seasonal flowers. Summer weather is here and the dahlias are getting ready to pop!

Our club summer release is now open! We are so pleased to share our 2023 Drouthy Neebors Syrah, 2023 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and our two 2025 Viogniers from Russian River and our estate vineyard in Kenwood. Each wine was chosen for this release because it will complement a summer evening on the patio or whatever you choose to throw on the grill. Cheers!

Bud break happened overnight due to a heatwave in our area. The vines are happy and we are making sure they stay hydrated as they wake up from their winter slumber. 🍇

Don’t be sad - the 2023 Russian River Pinot Noir is going to be released very soon and it also received 93 pts from Christaldi. Spring weather is upon us and the cover crops in the estate vineyard were cut this week. The tractor also mulched the vine trimmings so everything can compost in the vineyard when the ground is tilled, providing essential nutrients to the vines during the 2026 growing season. Lavender, flowers, and native plants are also waking up around the vineyard so pollinators are happily buzzing around. We saw a fox last night and a beautiful egret made its annual visit yesterday in search of food between the vines. Cooper is still disappointed that it doesn’t want to be friends.
