Welcome to Wh***ey Canyon Ranch

FREYA WRSDOTTIR has officially taken up residency at Wh***ey Canyon Ranch, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome this exceptional WR This Cats Smart daughter to the barn.

Fun fact, Dottir is how the Vikings spelled “daughter”—and with a name like that, paired with a sire like WR This Cats Smart, we think she’s got a pretty fitting name and an even brighter future.

So, clear the show pen and keep an eye out. This filly is one to watch, and we have a feeling you’ll be seeing plenty of her in the years to come. 🔥

A huge thank you to Joey and Leeann Slipher for trusting us with the opportunity to purchase this quality filly. We’re excited for what’s ahead with Freya!

WELCOME TO WH***EY CANYON RANCH!

Wh***ey Canyon Ranch is excited to officially welcome Andrew Deacon to the team as our Equine Manager!

Andrew brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to WCR, with a career spanning many years of breeding Paint and Quarter Horses in his home country of Australia, as well as successfully competing in rodeo, campdrafting, and cow horse in both Australia and the United States.

Andrew is also a current AA NRCHA Judge and an approved AQHA VRH Judge, bringing a depth of industry knowledge and experience that will be invaluable as Wh***ey Canyon Ranch continues to grow.

As we add reined cow horse to our existing cutting and VRH programs, Andrew’s vision, experience, and passion for the industry are exactly what we need to help take the ranch to the next level.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more of what’s happening at Wh***ey Canyon Ranch with you in the coming weeks and months.
