Adam and I are digging in some organic garlic today, with the help of Goose Springsteen and the Brown Road Gang.

They are removing earth worms so we can try and reduce soil structure damage, and hopefully prevent them migrating to native ecosystems.

We will be closed for the next 7 days, as I need to fly back to the UK to be with family.

I woke up this morning to 6 separate moose sightings, and a heavy rut presence.

Nature sign says we're in for a heck of a winter. Let's see if she's right.

This is T.C, he's our adopted 7 year old Guinea Fowl

2 years ago, I was buying game bird food at L&M when a gentleman approached me about taking in T.C at my farm.

He lived in Esko, and they had him for 5 years, but sadly his mate had recently died and he was all that was left.

Their grandchild called him The Chicken, which got shortened to TC.

He's one of my favourite birds on the farm and I'm so glad he was given to us.
