We experienced our first false fall. For those of you that dont live here we have a few false falls and springs before we go right into full blown winter or summer. It seems like we only have maybe 4 to 6 weeks total of winter weather during our winter months anymore.

Well one skunk is dead. Dasha got one last night. Klint thought it may have been the mother but its a smaller one. Looks like the puppies killed some rats as well. Merle is chasing one now.

Its wouldnt be a poultry show for me without something unconventional happening. Had to go get a trailer tire and replace it while at the show. I am thankful for Zebedee Pearl for riding with me to get the tire, Angela Thompson for bringing the awesome dessert, Bill Pearl for bringing me a new baby. I got to finally meet Danny Cooper, and Danielle Whitaker from Darkholler Farm . Matthew Papineau for help with birds some and helping me up off the ground when I was sitting taking pictures of a bird for someone. Lindsay Collins for helping me with cage doors, Luis Reyna for helping with the trailer tire. Its always good to see Aaron and Peyton Decker, Ben Porter, Andrew Bolton, and Pam Harlow and many others.

We have 2 more shows this year I know we are attending and I can honestly say I cant wait until the month next month is done. I hate that I have gotten this way, but between my job, my husband's health and us having to rebuild its a chore to even think about going to show anymore. Take today I got up at 5am watered, came home and lunch and watered more. Came home to cook supper, now do chores all before catching birds to load before going to bed. Then back up to hit the road by 4am.

Just need the humidity and high pressure to stay away with the 90° temp.

☀️A sunny & pleasant start to the work week! Crisp and cool this morning, but we'll bounce back to the upper 70s and lower 80s this afternoon.

🥵We're not finished with hot weather just yet. We'll make one more run close to the 90° mark Wednesday and Thursday. That *should* be the last time we see those kind of the numbers until next spring.

🌦️Rain chances return late this week. Right now, it appears Friday and Saturday will bring out best shot at some wet weather.

This little momma had a heat stroke a few weeks back. She is up moving around better and ready to be put back with the pair she was with.

We will be going through and evaluating our cayuga drakes this week. We will have some available I have shown in the past. We were able to only hatch males that made it to adult hood the past 2 years. We will potentially have 6 available. If you are looking for a good male let us know.
