As we wrap up another busy summer, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing team!

Summer is always a busy time at the store, and our team has worked hard to keep the shelves stocked and our customers taken care of.

Thank you for making Laatsch’s Piggly Wiggly a great place to work and shop!

We are open Labor Day from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Fall is here, and we’ve put together a pretty special display featuring local apples, fresh c***r, apple dips, pumpkins, and more!

Included in our display is a 1947 Farmall A tractor, loaned to us by the Kewaskum Historical Society. The tractor was originally owned by William “Bill” Geidel, our fourth-generation owner. After Bill passed away in 2010, the Geidel family donated the tractor to the Kewaskum Historical Society. Also, a thank you to Kris Juech from Survival Imprints in Kewaskum. He screen-printed our accent burlap bags with the Kewaskum Apple Co. logo. What is the history of the Kewaskum Apple Co., you may ask? This fictitious business was founded last Saturday when I needed something to screen on the bags.

You’ll also find a 19th-century basket apple picker, an old c***r press, and the wagon behind the tractor is actually a railroad depot cart.

So while you’re picking up your apples, c***r, and pumpkins, take a minute to check out the display and enjoy a little piece of history right here at Laatsch’s Piggly Wiggly-Kewaskum. Don't forget... the Kewaskum Historical Society is holding its annual Early Farm Days event on September 13, 2026, on the river near the museum on Parkview Drive.

Wishing Everyone a Great School Year!

We’re wishing our 43 high school students and 3 college students who work at Laatsch’s Piggly Wiggly a fun, safe, and successful school year! We hope you have a fantastic year ahead.

And to all the kids heading back to school, our teacher friends, support staff, and bus drivers....thank you for everything you do to make our schools and our community great!
