The llamas were in Marshfield this past weekend at the Central Wisconsin state fair. Everyone did great! Our boy Benji got Grand Champion in the male halter class. He then went onto win overall best of show!

The 2026 Washington County Fair has come to an end, but it was a blast. Yesterday was a busy day showing llamas. Everyone did amazing with placings ranging from 3rd all the way up to Grand Champion. Great job to all. Huge shout out to our amazing judge George! Before we know it we will be doing it all over in 2027!

Day 2 of the fair is in the books. It was a busy day getting llamas settled in, showing rabbits and showing steers! Great placings in the rabbit barn with several Best of breed wins. Both in open and youth. The open rabbits went on to win Best in show and reserve in show. Nice placings for the steers today as well. Congratulations to all and thank you to the judges! Fingers crossed this nice weather continues!

The fair has started! Thank you to all friends and family that have helped get things ready. Llamas got all cleaned up and go in tomorrow. Rabbits are settled in for the day. Rabbits show tomorrow as well as steers. Will be a busy, but fun day!

We just got back another batch of rabbit meat today. This time we had it ground up. Can't wait to try some different casseroles with it!

If you didn't know rabbit is one of the healthiest, leanest, and most environmentally friendly meats you can eat. Rabbit has the highest percentage of protein, the lowest percentage of fat, and the fewest calories per pound.

It was a toasty day for the rabbits. We went out to Fond du lac for the Spring fling rabbit show. Stony Creek Lavern hit the table for the first time, and even though she is young got some great comments and got BOSV in show 2. Excited to see how this girl grows. It was a first for Stony Creek Neeko as a young Sr who got BOSV in both shows. Stony Creek Maze and Moxie each took BOSG in a show. Huge shout out the Dream team polish for all the help!
