Hey everyone! Sorry that it's been a while since we last posted. Savannah was busy graduating from college and Katelyn's time these days is consumed with the SHS Agriculture Program. But the good news is - we'll all be HOME this summer!

So if anyone needs housesitting, chores, dogs walked, horses rode, etc - we are available!

However, as most of you have already done, shoot us your list of vacation dates ASAP so we can check availability! Dates will fill up fast!

Also, we are debating the idea of raising more broilers and butcher hogs - so letting us know what you'd be interested in helps us greatly! Thank you so much! We'll see you this summer!!!

Another successful Washington County Fair is in the rear view!! Katelyn began her new responsibilities as the Slinger FFA Advisor, and D3 took another supporting role in the county as a new buyer at the livestock auction! We are so proud to be a part of this community and are fortunate to have the opportunity to give back in these ways! Thank you for the support! Congratulations to all exhibitors!

If you haven't already heard, Savannah and Tillie are spending their summer interning at D&D West Feedlot in northeastern Colorado. Savannah and Tillie will spend 3 months out west gaining invaluable experience in the livestock industry, such as evaluating, sorting, shipping, and doctoring cattle on large scale feedlot atmosphere. Tillie on the other hand isn't sure about the job, as working over 12,000 head of cattle from sunup to sundown is harder work than anyone imagined....

We're happy for Savannah Dei and the experiences she is having there! But we can't wait to have her back home in the fall - even though she'll only be home for a week until she returns to River Falls. Exciting summer to be had for all!!

Our first batch of Cornish Cross chickens are officially processed and SOLD OUT! If you can recall, they were just little yellow bundles of fluff just two short months ago! These spectacular birds put all their energy into growing and yield a 5-7 pound dinner for your family in that short amount of time! We're thankful for the support of our returning customers as we always look forward to providing southeast Wisconsin with locally grown meat!
