Finally dug a path to the chickens! 🐓 There’s a lot of snow on the farm, and so much drifting. About 7” fell earlier in the week, followed by about 15” Friday to Saturday. Steve was doing snow removal most of the weekend. I helped out during A’s naps; so glad I could help with the final piece to the chickens. This is the most snow we’ve seen since buying the farm five years ago.

Phew. What a feeling it is to sell the food you grew! Thanks to and Chef Jim for picking up the tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, beans, garlic, scallions, herbs, honey, and eggs this morning. A great feast will be created 🍽️ Putting Moon Chaser Acres labels on boxes is something that definitely brought me joy 💗Now after essentially growing a garden for this one order this year 😂, let me assess next week if I have more to sell!

Shout out to my weekend harvest crew, my Aunt Heather and friend Carrie! 124 # of potatoes as a team is so much better than doing it solo!
