May was a busy month here at Reifsnider Farm! 🌱🐄

While the dry weather has challenged our hay fields, pastures, and gardens, we're thankful for the rain we received at the end of the month and are looking forward to what June has in store.

This month we: 🐮 Welcomed a healthy new calf 🌱 Continued planting and caring for the garden 🥩 Restocked our beef inventory with plenty of steaks, brats, ground beef, and bundle boxes for grilling season 📦 Sold out of our 2026 Seasonal Produce Subscription Boxes 🐔 Prepared for the launch of our pasture-raised chicken coming in early June

We're excited to kick off produce subscriptions and finally bring our pasture-raised chicken to your family's table in the coming weeks.

Happy Birthday to Kyle! 🎉

Not a farm boy by birth, but he’s learning the farm life one weekend project at a time. While working a full-time job during the week, he still shows up to help keep this family farm moving forward however he can. From big projects to everyday support, we’re grateful for all he does behind the scenes.

More importantly, he’s an incredible husband and the best dad to our two girls. We’re thankful for the hard work, love, and steady support he gives our family every single day.

Happy Birthday, Kyle! We love you and appreciate all you do for our family and this farm life we’re building together. ❤️

April brought a full swing of spring to the farm, and we’ve been busy every step of the way. 🌱

Planting is officially underway with all spring seeds and transplants in the ground—including new crops like broccoli and carrots. Our Seasonal Produce Subscription is nearly full with just a few spots left!

Calving season is in full swing with 7 healthy calves so far and more on the way. Rosie, our donkey, is doing her important job protecting the herd during this time.

Chickens are out on pasture, and growing fast—pasture-raised chicken will be available in about a month.

We’re also grateful to share that our 2026 bulk beef shares are sold out. We’ll open 2027 reservations later this year, and individual cuts will be restocked soon.
