It’s Sunday!!! New on our menu this week is 🌺 Van Gogh’s Fruity Night - haupia, tapioca, and fresh strawberries, mangoes, and dragon fruit. 🌺 Our gourmet savory danish is spinach, Brie, pears sautéed with cinnamon, brown sugar, and macadamia liqueur topped with a prosciutto rosette and balsamic reduction 🌺 and last but not least, Nat made an excellent twist on an old school personal pizza. We had to test these a couple times this week to make sure they were as good as we thought 🤣 three cheese stuffed crust danish with Italian marinara sauce topped with cheese and pepperoni 🌺 and our regular menu of dangerous danishes-triple berry, lilikoi, and apple. Cafe mocha tapioca, mini sweet potato pies with haupia and toasted marshmallow meringue, Chocolate banana cream pie. 🌺 Cinnamon raisin swirl bread 🌺 And, I almost forgot! We’re going to share something we’ve been making for ourselves. Getting in shape for the 25-50 miles of voyaging in the Paddle for Life to support the Pacific Cancer Foundation has been fantastically challenging. At first we were just exhausted. Then we were sore and exhausted. Now that we’ve made it through the initial welcome back to physical exertion we find ourselves needing to refuel or prefuel. We keep spinach and fresh fruit protein smoothies in the freezer to grab on the run and we mixed up some Atomic Super Fuel Cells. At least that’s what we call them. Raw tahini, maca powder, matcha powder, Belgian dark chocolate chunks, almond butter, Bob’s Red Mill rolled oats, Big Island honey, h**p seeds, flax seeds, dried tart cherries, and a little bit of Nutella, because it used to be her nickname? (Super sweet and a little nutty, don’t tell her I said that 😳😁) 4-8pm tonight
