The Ol Man will have his food trailer at the city park in Kilgore this afternoon and evening for the 4th of July Extravaganza! He has pulled pork, his FAMOUS jalapeño coleslaw, hotdogs, burgers, nachos, and more!! We wish a safe and happy 250th Independence Day to everyone!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Hey everyone,
It’s with a heavy heart but a whole lot of gratitude that I wanted to share an update about ETX WING CO.
First off, a huge THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single customer, friend, family member, and supporter who has walked through our doors, ordered wings, shared posts, left reviews, and cheered me on since we opened on November 19, 2025. Your support has meant the world to me. I poured everything I had into this place and was so excited about the future when things were really booming.
For those who don’t know the full story, I’ve been in the food business since July 2019- first with Ol Man’s BBQ, then Ol Man’s Taco #2, and most recently building ETX WING CO from the ground up. At 70 years old, I’ve given this everything I’ve got.
Unfortunately, like so many small businesses these days, the money coming in just isn’t enough to cover the overhead and all the expenses of keeping the brick-and-mortar location going. After a lot of tough conversations and soul-searching, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the storefront. Sunday will be our last day open.
I’m not quitting. I’m just shifting gears to something more sustainable. I’ll be keeping the food trailer and focusing on booking events, catering, and pop-ups so I can keep doing what I love while staying on top of things. I believe this change will give me a better work-life balance at this stage in my life and let me keep serving up the food y’all love without the heavy overhead.
If you’ve supported me in the past, I’d love your continued support at upcoming events! I’ll be posting the schedule here as things get booked. Every order, every share, and every kind word helps keep this dream alive.
Thank you all for being part of my journey. This community has been incredible.
I’ll see you out on the road soon!
